Digital Photography Speciality - May / June speciality at only £80!!

Digital has taken the underwater photography world by storm. Get in on the action with the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty course. You can quickly and easily capture the underwater world with your camera and on your computer.

During the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty course, you learn to use the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine and Adjust) method, which takes full advantage of digital technology. The result is good underwater photos faster than you may imagine. You not only learn how to take good photos, but how to share them with your friends via email or printing, optimizing your work with your computer, storage and more.

This is one of PADI’s most adaptable specialty courses, and can even be started during the last dive of your PADI Open Water Diver course. The PADI Digital Photography Diver certification counts toward your Master Scuba Diver rating and is run over 2 open water dives with your instructor. If you take your Digital Speciality with DiverCity you can take advantage of a 10% discount on our wide range of FUJI and Sea & Sea cameras and housings.

Course Pre-requisites

Must be a PADI Open Water Diver

You need to be in reasonable health and be able to answer 'no' to all the medical questions listed in the 'Course Booking Form' downloadable to the right. If you answer 'yes' to any question then the 'GPs Statement' (downloadable to the right) will have to be signed by your doctor prior to the course's commencement.

What's Next?

Once you've become a Digital Underwater Photographer you may wish to take part in the Advanced Open Water course to show you other forms of diving and to give you extra depth to take photos. If a certain form of diving, such as Underwater Navigation or Night diving, is of interest then maybe focus in on one of our other Speciality Courses, but if you've been seriously bitten by the bug then maybe you would like to join our Master Scuba Diver Programme, the black belt of SCUBA.

Course Costs and Dates

The cost of the Digital Photography speciality is £100 and can be held on one day of the weekends below or spread over two days if preferred.
