Night Diver

When you go night diving you'll see a whole new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night.

You'll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life.

The PADI Night Diver certification counts toward your Master Scuba Diver rating and is run over 3 open water dives with your instructor.

Course Pre-requisites

Must be a PADI Open Water Diver

You need to be in reasonable health and be able to answer 'no' to all the medical questions listed in the 'Course Booking Form' downloadable to the right. If you answer 'yes' to any question then the 'GPs Statement' (downloadable to the right) will have to be signed by your doctor prior to the course's commencement.

What's Next?

Once you've become a Night Diver you may wish to take part in the Advanced Open Water course to show you other forms of diving, normally in daylight. If a certain form of diving, such as Underwater Navigation or DPV Diver, is of interest then maybe focus in on one of our other Speciality Courses, but if you've been seriously bitten by the bug then maybe you would like to join our Master Scuba Diver Programme, the black belt of SCUBA. The cost of the Night speciality is £145 and is held on one of the evenings below or spread over a few evenings if preferred.
